Meet Our Founder & CEO

Chris Powell

With over 25 years of rich experience in healthcare business management, sales leadership, marketing, and operational knowledge, Chris has established himself as a luminary in the industry.

Chris’s career is a testament to his dedication to inclusive leadership and unwavering commitment to building an engaged organization creates loyalty, results and a performance culture. Chris started his career as a ‘on the road’ sales person with IBM learning the nuances of cold calling and establishing win-win relationships that led to leadership roles in health care service and technology. Once leaving IBM he joined IDX, a healthcare software and services organization where he grew from a territory sales rep to a regional manager, Divisional manager and ultimately to lead all of sales and marketing for the company before being acquired by GE Healthcare. Chris remained at GE and led the $1.3B Sales and marketing team of GE Healthcare IT as well as teams in Canada and South America. This experience of gritty sales to leader in a multibillion dollar organization provides deep insights into culture, performance and the importance of balance between company process with peoples’ needs.

Chris left GE to lead a Private Equity backed health care technology and service organization with more than 2500 colleagues that tripled its revenue and profits and exited in a successful sale to nThrive. Chris jumped into the behavioral health segment with a revamp of a healthcare laboratory business that ultimately merged with another facility to create a larger impact based business. This experience compelled Chris to published his booked, “Unhooked” a roadmap for improving how we care for SUD and mental illness in the complex health care ecosystem we as patients deal with.

Most recently, he led an international healthcare clinical company providing front line care tools for patients in hard to reach care settings in Africa and Asia. From large company’s to start ups from struggling organizations to thriving entities, Chris has helped build and lead organizations through the many cycles of business growth and challenges. These broad experiences have shaped Chris’s appreciation for the power of organizational clarity and agility, employee empowerment and engagement and most importantly impactful leadership.

Chris is recognized for his innovative strategies in culture development, strategic planning, and executive coaching. At the helm of Quantum Advisers, he brings a unique approach to management consulting and leadership coaching, focusing on culture as the cornerstone of organizational success. His expertise in team building, product launch planning, financial modeling, and sales process implementation has been pivotal in steering companies towards growth and sustainability.
