THE LEARN PHASE

The Learn phase is about building a solid foundation of understanding, joint knowledge and how we will proceed and with who the work will focus on:

For both Organizations and Executives set the baseline:

  • Establish relationship and parameters
  • Awareness and responsibility for all involved in the project
  • Agreements of coaching with manager or Board/sponsoring executive
Assessment and Goal Setting:
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the individual and the organization.
  • Often includes a 360
  • Collaboratively set clear and measurable goals for personal and organizational development.
Skill and Knowledge Enhancement:
  • Identify specific skills and knowledge gaps through assessments.
  • Develop personalized learning plans to address identified gaps.

THE EXPLORE PHASE

The Explore phase is about deeper understanding of the current situation and obstacles and opportunities ahead. A sample of areas we will we will work together and research include:

For the Executive:

  • How do we make your needs real?
  • What hurdles must be overcome?
  • Unpack obstacles
For the Organization:
  • What is the organizational culture and its history? How is this impacting the present? What should we adjust?
What is the strategy moving forward:
  • Is it clear?
  • Attainable or a source of organizational frustration?
  • Do your team members understand how they impact the strategy?
  • Is there strategic fluency across the team? The leadership? The Board? The markets?
  • Assess internal and external factors affecting the organization.
Team Dynamics:
  • Evaluate team dynamics and collaboration within the organization.
  • Address any team-related challenges hindering optimal performance.

THE ACTIVATE PHASE

The Activate phase is about collating all we have learned across the many stakeholders involved or the individual's landscape into actionable options for individual and organizational advancement to achieve the desired outcome. The critical nature of Activate is it must come from within the organization and individual and not be forced into this critical phase of development:

For the Executive:

  • What daily action can you take?
  • How will you share your plan and let others drive your accountability?
For the Organization:
  • How will we establish agreed success gates?
  • What process will we adopt to have consistent goal setting?
  • How will you promote and monitor your progress - accountability?
Action Planning:
  • Co-create a detailed action plan based on the insights from the Learn and Explore phases.
  • Prioritize actions that align with organizational goals and individual development needs.
Change Management:
  • Develop strategies for effectively managing organizational change.
  • Assist in implementing change initiatives to enhance performance.

THE PERFORM PHASE

The Perform phase is all about refining our work and ensuring a self-driven success plan and a sustainable framework for progress.

For the Executive:

  • How will you overcome inertia?
  • What sustainable events can we build upon?
For an organization:
  • How do we create fluency across the teams?
  • How will you overcome inertia?
  • What customers can we engage?
Results and growth:
  • ROI review and assessment - set during our Explore phase
  • Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Celebrating Success and Learnings:
  • Recognize and celebrate achievements and milestones.
  • Analyze failures and setbacks to extract valuable lessons for future improvement.
Sustainability and Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish a feedback loop for ongoing improvement.
